Baker McKenzie's Chicago-based commercial litigation team leverages its substantial trial and litigation experience before local and national courts and arbitration panels in order to win disputes for clients. Given our Firm's unmatched global platform across over 70 offices and over 40 emerging and developed countries, our clients often are located outside of the United States, and their disputes implicate complex issues of cross-border litigation- from privilege, managing eDiscovery, obtaining evidence (including navigating data privacy and data protection laws), coordination of parallel proceedings, and enforcement of judgments. However, as noted in our submission, we also represent US-based clients in similar venues. These clients encompass a variety of industries, though we have particularly deep and recent experience representing companies in the industrial and manufacturing sector, engineering sector and IT and Technology sector.
