About

Provided by Baker McKenzie

The strength of our international and national offering is a key draw for clients. Not only can we draw on a global network of offices, but our 40-plus strong Finance and Projects Group comprises over 30 Japanese and foreign attorneys, allowing us to handle both outbound project work (i.e. for Japanese clients investing outside Japan) and inbound and domestic project work (for foreign and Japanese clients investing in Japan). We have a significant leading presence in areas of LNG, Oil and Gas, Renewable Energy, Mining, Power and Infrastructure. With those capabilities, we have built a market leading practice, acting for both Japanese and foreign clients across the entire projects spectrum (something we believe few other foreign or Japanese law firms have been able to achieve in Japan). Our team is mostly bilingual. Languages spoken include Japanese, English, Korean, Thai, Hindi and Gujarati.
