APM’s Startups & Emerging Companies team supports early-stage technology companies throughout all stages of their development. The startups field is one of the firm’s pillars, and the team acts for close to half of the incubators in Israel, reflecting its broad expertise and in-depth knowledge of the high-tech landscape.
The team advises on a broad range of legal and strategic matters, working closely with other departments across the firm on issues including optimal tax structuring, intellectual property protection, labour law compliance, capital raising, M&A transactions, joint ventures, strategic agreements, and multinational transactions.
Acting as strategic partners to clients, the team guides startups from inception on business strategy, long-term planning, and business model development, helping clients access business opportunities and collaborations, including connections with angel investors in Israel and worldwide, venture capital funds, private investment funds, international technology companies, and technology incubators and accelerators, through to achieving business objectives and successful exits both in Israel and internationally.
