Strengths
Allens' legaltech team in particular are very engaging. They're always there offering a solution when there's a problem to solve. Other firms would wait for us to give instructions before acting, but Allens will suggest alternative solutions for a more flexible price. Aside from the alternative legal team, the regular legal team has the same front-forward approach.
The first thing is the strategy they apply in connection with their work with us. It’s really thought out and tailored to our organisational needs. Quite specifically, they think about how the flows of documents should work and how they can streamline to make sure there’s no duplication or discrepancies. We now have one version of the document that we use for each different regulator, which is really strategic and saved us a lot of time. The second reason we work with them is they have a really nuanced view of the market and can tell us what has and hasn’t worked for other people.
Allens' LPO document review team has much greater scale than their competitors and has been established much longer. The group is integrated with the ALSP technology offering which gives them greater insight and innovation.
