The firm is also a key player in debt capital market transactions. It advises issuers and underwriters on the whole spectrum from senior debt to equity like instruments. The team has been involved in numerous groundbreaking and often innovative transactions, including hybrid bonds, covered bonds, high yield bonds, convertible bonds, mandatory convertible bonds, green bonds, sustainability linked bonds and regulatory capital instruments (e.g. TLAC) for banks and insurance companies. It has extensive experience in restructuring debt instruments. Clients are companies active on the Swiss and international capital markets and their shareholders, leading Swiss and global investment banks as well as private equity sponsors, sovereign wealth funds and other domestic and foreign financial and strategic investors. Recent work highlights include advising Credit Suisse and UBS on the first Swiss SPAC IPO and on the IPO of medmix, Cembra Money Bank on the placement of senior unsecured bonds, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse and Goldman Sachs in an offering and placement of senior unsecured convertible bonds of Idorsia.
