Toledo Marchetti advised Teixeira Duarte - Engenharia e Construções S.A. in two proceedings involving the construction of the first and second phases of a unique and monumental religious Temple in Brasília. As the Contractor refused to return the withheld amounts, Teixeira Duarte, represented by Toledo Marchetti, filed a collection lawsuit seeking the reimbursement of the sums retained during the execution of the contract. Thereafter, the Contractor filed a lawsuit against Teixeira Duarte and another respondent, seeking compensation for an alleged overpricing as an attempt to keep the amounts withheld.
