Toledo Marchetti advised Petróleo Brasileiro S.A. (Petrobras) in two high-profile disputes concerning the Catalytic Hydrocracking (HCC) Contract, executed in 2010 for the supply of goods and provision of services related to the consistency analysis of the basic design, preparation of the executive project, civil works, electromechanical assembly, interconnections, and commissioning of the Catalytic Hydrocracking Unit and the related electrical substation at the Rio de Janeiro Petrochemical Complex (Complexo de Energias Boaventura). In both proceedings, the main issues concern contract termination and claims of economic imbalance.
