Toledo Marchetti's Projects team is assisting Arauco with the implementation of the Sucuriú Project, one of the biggest pulp mills in Latin America with an estimated generation capacity of 3.5 million tons of hardwood pulp per year. Toledo Marchetti’s legal assistance includes: (i) the drafting and review of all major agreements for the Sucuriú Project ("Major Agreements") including EPC Contracts, BOO Contracts, and Civil Works Contracts, among others; (ii) the negotiation of the Major Agreements; and (iii) the structuring of the main risk allocation matrices and all other relevant aspects and documents regarding the legal modelling for the construction, engineering, and procurement activities.
