SAA has advised the founders of CODA Intelligence, a Romanian provider of next generation automated cybersecurity solutions, on the acquisition by PDQ, an industry leader in software and IT asset management.
Through this transaction, the two companies will be able to advance their shared mission of enabling organizations of all sizes to maintain a strong security posture.
Coda Intelligence, a Romanian start-up providing state-of-the-art cybersecurity solutions, was founded in 2016 and had previously received investments from both Early Game Ventures and Roca X during a Seed Funding Round, with SAA serving as CODA's legal advisor on that occasion as well.
Founded in 2001, PDQ helps IT professionals across small and large companies to manage and organize hardware, software, and configuration data for Windows- and Apple-based devices. PDQ’s tools seamlessly automate patch management and other software deployments. PDQ is headquartered in South Salt Lake, Utah, USA.
The SAA team was led by Managing Partner Silviu Stratulat and also included Partner Cristina Man (Corporate/M&A), Senior Associate Amanda Csaki (Corporate/M&A) and Associate Cezara Mitea (Corporate/M&A). Partner Andrei Albulescu led the team handling Employment related matters, where Managing Associate Anca Ulea and Associate Camelia Panaite were also involved.
