The National Cybersecurity Agency (ANCI) has issued General Instruction No. 1, which establishes the obligation for all public and private institutions that provide services classified as essential, in accordance with Law No. 21,663 Cybersecurity Framework (CFL), to register on its incident reporting platform.

Implications of this instruction:

  • Institutions must register on the official platform: https://portal.anci.gob.cl.
  • Registration must be carried out by the person responsible for reporting cybersecurity incidents, who will act as the technical counterpart to the ANCI.
  • The use of a unique password, two-factor authentication, and accreditation of the appointment by means of an advanced electronic signature is required.
  • Failure to comply will be considered a minor offense, according to Article 38 No. 2 of the CFL (punishable by a fine of up to $260,025,000).

This instruction will enter into force on June 11, 2025.
