Paris, January 24, 2023 – Jeantet has advised Omnes, a leading private equity and facility specialist and ESG player, in the acquisition of a minority interest in the Redman Group, founded in 2007 by Matthias Navarro and Nicolas Ponson, in connection with the raising of more than €30 million in equity and debt.
Through CEP2, its fund for sustainable cities (“Ville Durable”), Omnes will provide Redman with substantial financial resources in the form of a minority participating interest in the Group’s capital and the creation of a development fund. These resources will enable Redman to accelerate its growth in its low-carbon real estate development activities.
As a leading player in the field of urban rehabilitation and requalification for many years, Redman is acquiring additional capacity for action through the creation of a development fund designed to carry assets to be restructured. Therefore, Redman and Omnes are working towards a goal of less than 2° Celsius and in line with the Paris Agreements, to accelerate the decarbonization of existing buildings, using the group’s multi-product expertise.
With nearly 15 years of experience in the real estate industry, Redman Group is a company focused on developing low-carbon and inclusive cities. The Group operates through three business lines: real estate development (the Group’s historical business) for the tertiary, residential and hospitality sectors, investor-operator in the hotel sector and land investor for the territories through its real estate company Essentiel. It operates throughout France with offices in Paris, Lyon, Bordeaux, Aix-en-Provence and Montpellier, with nearly 70 employees in development and more than 170 throughout the Group.
The only French developer with the BCorp label, Redman will have sales of over €100 million in 2023 and, thanks to this fundraising, should exceed €200 million in the next three years. This transaction will allow the group to expand its presence throughout France.
