The Hogan Lovells Warsaw Office advised the ISOC Group in completing the acquisition of the A and B buildings of the Silesia Business Park from the Swedish investor Niam.
The Silesia Business Park is located in the most dynamic business district in Katowice. The transaction involved two class A office buildings with a leasable area of over 24,000 sq.m. With this acquisition, the ISOC Group becomes the exclusive owner of the entire Silesia Business Park complex.
The ISOC Group is a real estate and industrial infrastructure investment company based in the Philippines with stakes in telecommunications, logistics and cold chain.
In 2019, ISOC was shortlisted for the real estate Eurobuild Investor of the Year award. The acquisition of buildings A and B of the Silesia Business Park thus marks another real estate investment of the ISOC Group in the Polish market.
On the Purchaser's side, this transaction was conducted by counsel Bartosz Clemenz.
The head of Hogan Lovells Warsaw real estate legal practice, partner Marek Grodek, supervised the transaction and coordinated the multidisciplinary legal team.
The real estate transaction team included Adam Nowosielski, Ewa Kraszewska, dr Katarzyna Sulimierska, and Paweł Gnaś as well as Daria Kostewicz and Karolina Samocik.
Piotr Zawiślak, the partner heading the banking and finance practice and senior associate Mateusz Dereszyński advised on the financing aspects of the transaction.
Advice in the area of IP law was led by Ewa Kacperek, the counsel heading the intellectual property, media and new technologies practice, and Weronika Wołosiuk.
This is another significant Asian investment in commercial real property in Poland, in which the Hogan Lovells Warsaw office has been recently involved.
