DORDA IP/IT and data protection experts Axel Anderl and Dominik Schelling support sportsWorld in a cooperation with Formula 1 in connection with the pop-up exhibition "Bond in Motion".

Vienna, 26 March 2020 – DORDA advised sportsWorld Operations GmbH on several contracts with Formula 1. Following intensive negotiations, sportsWorld was able to conclude a cooperation agreement with F1 in connection with the pop-up exhibition "Bond in Motion" with the support of DORDA managing partner Axel Anderl and legal consultant Dominik Schelling (both IP/IT/Data Protection). This project was especially challenging as multi-party licensing and rights agreements between the rights holders to the Bond films and materials (EON Productions Limited) and Formula 1 as host of the exhibition were required.

A rewarding cooperation
The exhibition started in Spielberg and toured five other European cities together with the Formula 1 Grand Prix. It offered Formula 1 fans the opportunity to marvel at the legendary original cars from the James Bond films up close. "Bond in Motion" was a huge success and recently even won the Austrian Event Award in Gold in the category Corporate Public Events.

"We are delighted to accompany sportsWorld with their successful F1 partnerships. It was particularly exciting to bring licensing agreements on an international level with very strong licensors to a satisfactory conclusion for all parties involved", says Axel Anderl about the fruitful collaboration. "This is hopefully the prelude to a future-oriented and long-term cooperation between the parties".
