De Pardieu has advised the arrangers and the lenders on the financing of approximately 1 billion euros granted to Eutelsat, world leader in satellite communications, in connection with an order of 340 low Earth orbit satellites by OneWeb, its UK subsidiary specializing in high-speed Internet services.
The financing will be provided by a consortium of banks which will benefit from a guarantee granted by the French Treasury through the French export credit agency, Bpifrance Assurance Export.
Its disbursement remains subject to the satisfaction of several conditions precedent.
