Bondoc & Associații assisted Helios Energy Investments, a private equity fund involved in the development of renewable projects across Europe in relation to setting up and pursuing a partnership with a major Global player in renewable development, TDI Renewables Ltd., concerning a portfolio of renewable projects (Solar Photo-Voltaic, Off-shore wind and Storage) exceeding 1000 MW throughout Romania. TDI Renewables Ltd. ("TDI"), a UK-based company, specializes in developing, constructing, and operating renewable energy projects, primarily onshore wind, solar, and storage facilities. With its local teams, TDI is active in key Central and Eastern European markets at various project stages.
Helios Investments is a group of funds that invests in the fields of renewable energy in Europe and Israel. The Helios funds manage investments in the renewable energy sector, such as solar energy, wind energy, converting waste to energy (thermal and biological), energy storage and electric car charging networks. Helios operates in 7 key European countries and in Israel and manages a capital of about one billion euro. Helios investments are focused on bringing an excess annual return and creating capital gains for investors in areas that contribute to solving the climate crisis and reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
The assistance included extensive due diligence on the portfolio of projects, as well as transaction assistance and FDI clearance related assistance.
