Frankfurt am Main, 5 May 2022 - The Austrian crypto start-up Coinpanion has brought three valuable partners on board - the German institutions Bankhaus Scheich, Bankhaus von der Heydt and Concedus - and thus laid the foundation for its entry into the German market. Annerton took over the legal advice of the asset manager for crypto assets.

In 2019, the Viennese FinTech launched its digital crypto manager for the first time and is currently the second largest crypto FinTech in Austria (right after Bitpanda). Only recently, the company was able to record a successful seed financing round of over 5.5 million euros.

The new partnerships with Bankhaus Scheich, Bankhaus von der Heydt and Concedus give the start-up access to important trading centres and bring it a big step closer to its goal of expanding its product portfolio beyond conventional cryptocurrencies, expanding internationally and initially gaining a foothold in Germany.

The Annerton team of Alireza Siadat, Kemal Ahmedi, Dennis Lange and Till-Christopher Otto provided comprehensive legal advice to Coinpanion on its German market entry and successful collaborations. "Coinpanion is a flagship crypto company: a great innovative product, a highly motivated team and a clear vision. We are delighted with Coinpanion for this milestone," says Alireza Siadat, lawyer and partner at Annerton.

"Entering the market of one of the most highly regulated financial markets in Europe is a very big challenge from a legal but also from an organisational point of view. With Annerton, we have always had a competent, reliable and innovative partner at our side, who not only provided us with the best advice in this Herculean task, but also made our market entry possible in the first place," explains Alexander Valtingojer, CEO and Co-Founder of Coinpanion.
