Alston & Bird has added Alyse Sagalchik as a partner in its Corporate & Business Transactions Group, strengthening the firm’s public company and capital markets offerings. Based in the firm’s Chicago office, she represents private and public companies in a range of matters, including initial and follow-on public offerings, equity and debt placements, and going-private transactions.
“Alyse joins as a seasoned issuer-side capital markets lawyer who moves deals forward efficiently while also managing regulatory complexities,” said Kyle Healy, partner and co-chair of Alston & Bird’s Corporate & Business Transactions Group. “She brings impressive cross-border experience and a commitment to excellent client service that will contribute meaningfully to our growing Chicago office.”
Alyse guides investment banks, as well as Canadian and other non-U.S. issuers, on multijurisdictional capital-raising matters, U.S. registrations, and stock exchange listing requirements. She also counsels companies on corporate governance and mergers and acquisitions, helping them address U.S. securities laws and related regulatory considerations. Her clients include entrepreneurs, high-growth companies, and their investors across industries such as health care and life sciences, technology (including AI), banking, manufacturing, and consumer products.
“Alston & Bird’s highly collaborative culture has always stood out to me, and I’m inspired by how seamlessly the practices and offices work together,” said Alyse. “This dynamic leads to better outcomes for clients, especially on cross-border transactions that require close coordination of the very best resources drawn from across the firm.”
