Polona Fink Ružič joined Rojs, Peljhan, Prelesnik & Partners in March 2017 after leading the Employment Law Department at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia. As such she was a member of the Expert Group Reviewing the Execution of the Employment Relationships Act at the Slovenian Ministry of Labour, Family, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities and a member of several other expert groups preparing Slovenian employment law legislation.

She focuses on Employment Law, Litigation and Data Privacy and the interplay between the three. She has broad experience on giving advice regarding all employment law matters, drafting a wide range of employment law agreements, employer’s internal acts and collective agreements, including negotiation process. She was engaged in various GDPR projects and has assisted local clients and multinational corporations in various industries including health industry, financial institutions, IT providers, distribution, trade, energy sector, pharmaceutical industry and others with respect to all aspect related to protection of personal data and privacy. Her mix of specialized knowledge allows her to advise employers on the limits of monitoring employee communications to ascertain potential corporate espionage and the like, and she has recently been involved in several task-groups on preventing trade secret exposures for her clients.
