Career
Mariya Papazova is a partner in PPG Lawyers and an expert with more than twenty years of experience in the field of competition and consumer protection. In her practice, she advises national and multinational clients in sectors, such as: fuels, energy, wholesale and retail trade, telecommunications, IT, banking, pharmacy etc., on various antitrust, merger control and unfair competition matters. For her clients Mariya conducts compliance due diligences, prepares competition compliance programs and offers competition compliance trainings. She also advises business on consumer protection matters related to labelling, product information, consumer claims, etc. Mariya has successfully represented her clients before the Bulgarian Competition for Protection of Competition (CPC) and the court in antitrust, merger control and unfair competition cases.
