Marcio Vasconcellos is an associate in New York and a member of the International Arbitration Practice Group. Marcio focuses on commercial and investor-state arbitration. He represents clients in commercial and investor-state arbitration. Marcio has a particular focus on disputes following mergers and acquisitions, mining, energy, and financial sectors, as well as broad experience in matters involving Latin America and Brazil. He has represented clients under most institutional rules and across a broad spectrum of industries, including oil and gas, electric power, mining, transportation, real estate development, manufacturing, and pharmaceuticals.

Mr. Vasconcellos practiced from 2010 to 2015 in Brazil, where he was an associate with a global firm and a junior partner with a commercial law boutique in Porto Alegre and Sao Paulo, Brazil. Between 2017 and 2020 Marcio as an associate with a leading, full-service California firm, practicing in international and domestic arbitration and related litigation.
