Marc is Chair of Archer’s Environmental Law Department and is widely recognized for resolving complex environmental disputes through both litigation and strategic negotiation. He represents major petrochemical companies in high-stakes matters involving state-agency cost recovery, natural resource damages, and multi-party Superfund litigation. Known for his ability to bridge gaps between parties, Marc regularly serves as lead counsel in CERCLA and Spill Act cases, and has extensive experience negotiating settlements with the NJDEP and preparing nexus packages.
Clients value Marc’s collaborative, detail-oriented approach and his skill in simplifying complex technical issues. He frequently advises in-house legal teams and leads multidisciplinary teams of legal and technical experts. Marc’s practice spans from litigation defense to environmental counseling and transactional risk management, with particular depth in downstream petroleum operations and national-level environmental matters.
