He is renowned as one of Ireland’s foremost financial regulatory practitioners. His work spans the range of challenges that confront financial institutions today, from authorisations to capital structuring and internal governance to corporate group reorganisations. He has special expertise in emerging areas such as AI, Fintech and Insurtech.

Liam has recently advised one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges in the world on both contentious and non-contentious matters. He has also recently advised a leading European insurtech on the development of its innovative digital add-on insurance offering.
