Career

José Luis is the Managing Partner of the firm. He leads the Administrative & Constitutional, Infrastructure, capital markets, processes of democratization, and structured finance practices.

He has over 30 years of professional experience. In the Banking, Finance & Capital Markets practice, he is a permanent advisor to several of the main national and international banks. Jose Luis has also advised companies in the sectors of energy, finance, media, public services, telecommunications, technology, in matters that include mergers and acquisitions, structured financing and investment schemes, and local and international placements.

José Luis has led the legal teams in 95% of the processes of share democratization that have taken place in Colombia.

He has been a university professor of undergraduate and post-graduate programs. Among his chairs is the introduction to law and seminars on financing projects and international transactions and is author of several legal publications and an exhibitor in numerous conferences and seminars.
