Dyalá Jiménez specializes in international arbitration. Dyalá is frequently appointed as arbitrator in institutional and ad hoc arbitrations, both in commercial and investor-State matters. She is a member of the panel of arbitrators for Costa Rica before ICSID, and a member of the ICC International Court of Arbitration and of the ICCA Governing Board.
She has arbitration experience in the following sectors: construction, telecomunications, energy, sale and purchase disputes, distribution disputes, and corporate law disputes.
Career
In 2012, Dyalá Jiménez founded DJ Arbitraje, a boutique firm focused on commercial and investment dispute resolution. She served as Minister of Foreign Trade of Costa Rica from 2018 to 2020.
