Career

Ashley Taylor is a partner in the firm’s Regulatory, Investigations, Strategy and Enforcement Practice, focusing on state and federal regulatory enforcement matters and related litigation or administrative actions. He also serves as co-chair of the firm’s State Attorneys General team, which recently celebrated its twenty-year anniversary. Ashley has represented clients in multistate and individual state Attorneys General investigations and before the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and Federal Trade Commission.

Ashley has extensive experience in a variety of subject matters, including loan servicing, small dollar loans, and data breaches, that are the subject of enforcement actions and related litigation. Ashley founded, and currently co-chairs, the American Bar Association State Attorneys General and Department of Justice Issues Committee, and currently serves as Vice Chair of Troutman Pepper.
