Agnieszka Janicka is the Managing Partner of the Warsaw office of Clifford Chance, the firm where she began her career in 1992. An accomplished corporate partner, she has been consistently recognised as a market leader by numerous legal directories. In 2018, she became the Office Managing Partner and has held the position ever since.
In this conversation with Magdalena Parkitna, Agnieszka reflects on her path to becoming a leading lawyer and what it takes to run one of Poland’s top law firms. She discusses the importance of life outside the office, the challenges women in law continue to face, and why self‑empowerment and pursuing one’s own goals matter.
