Changes to the UK 2026 guide

Until and including the current edition (UK 2025), we asked for one submission and one supporting referee spreadsheet, with a maximum of seven referees for each category which has rankings for individuals.

For the next edition, we shall be asking for separate submissions for the Media & Entertainment categories: Advertising & Marketing; Film & TV; Games, Interactive Entertainment & Social Media; Music & Talent (Contentious & Non-Contentious); Publishing; and Theatre & Live Events.

Each of these submissions can be accompanied by a maximum of 20 referees, thus significantly increasing the amount of client and referee feedback we can collect and use to better inform our research and final rankings.

Please note that the music category will, in the 2026 edition, be renamed ‘Music & Talent’. In addition to covering the music world, the category will also cover commercial arrangements and disputes concerning social media influencers, podcasters and other talents who, in a legal/contractual context, have a similar profile to musical artists.
