Hannaford Turner has significant expertise acting for both shipyards and purchasers of new build superyachts from the construction and delivery of semi-custom yachts of 30 metres in length, through to fully custom, ice class, expedition yachts of more than 140 metres. In addition to drafting and negotiating yacht build contracts, the firm routinely negotiates the wider suite of agreements that go hand in hand with superyacht construction including superyacht design agreements, owners’ outfitting supply agreements, refund and performance guarantees and project management agreements, as well as advising on the delivery of superyachts and post-build warranty matters. The firm has been involved in the construction and delivery of some of the largest superyachts in existence today.

Superyacht Sale & Purchase & Private Jet Sale and Purchase:

The firm is frequently instructed to act for buyers and sellers of superyachts and private jets, helicopters tenders and support yachts. The partners have been involved in the acquisition of yachts and jets of all types of sizes as well as the sale and purchase of yacht and jet owning corporate entities and have a rich contact book of third-party industry professionals including surveyors, insurance brokers and corporate service providers which they are pleased to extent to their clients.
