    Personal Injury
    2026 | Band 1 | 22 Years Ranked

Guildhall Chambers is a top-tier set on the Western Circuit, with "barristers who are willing to take on more challenging cases that other sets turn down and with good success rates." Members are regularly instructed to act on behalf of both claimants and defendants, including several major insurers and corporate bodies, and are experienced in the handling of claims involving chronic pain, fatal accidents and catastrophic and psychiatric injuries. A recent instruction saw the set acting on behalf of a golf professional suffering complex peripheral nerve and psychiatric injury. Additional areas of strength for the team include industrial disease cases and complex employers' and occupier liability disputes. Barristers at Guildhall recently acted for the claimant in Dominic Lovatt v Goodwin Steel Castings, who suffered severe injuries, including having their leg crushed.

Senior practice managers Stephen Arnold and Caroline Evans lead the civil clerking team at the set.
