Government Relations: State & Local

The primary focus of our Government Relations table is the legislative lobbying conducted by qualified lawyers for a range of corporate and some nonprofit clients, such as hospitals and universities. This is usually either regarding a specific proposal for legislation (eg Asbestos reform) or ongoing appropriations work. This work crosses industries from defense to education. Our State Attorneys General section covers the representation of clients facing sensitive and high-profile individual and multistate investigations by state attorneys general, as well as regulatory approvals and litigation. Firms and attorneys are also recognized separately for their Congressional Investigations expertise.
