Advocates at the stable are highly adept at handling construction disputes arising in a plethora of sectors, including energy and transport. Members assist a broad client portfolio, including construction bodies and local authorities, with mandates such as disputes arising from development projects, engineering matters, contract breaches, building defects and professional negligence cases. A work highlight from this year is Glasgow School of Art v Harley Haddow, in which the advocates are acting for the defendant engineers in one of several litigations that followed the fire at the Glasgow School of Art construction site.
