Ranking Table

Civil Liberties & Human Rights

The section covers violations of rights under the Human Rights Act 1998 and the European Convention on Human Rights by the government, media and organisations, in the way they behave towards individuals. It features cases involving judicial review proceedings and also cases brought before the European Court of Human Rights. Additionally, the Prison Law table highlights firms that specialise in prisoners' rights and the International Human Rights table recognises lawyers and law firms who represent clients in international human rights matters. These tables include leading firms and lawyers from around the UK. Lawyers from Scotland and Northern Ireland can be included, but they may also have their own dedicated table.
