Career

Dr. Xuehua Wang, founding partner of Beijing Huanzhong & Partners, former Associate Dean of the Law School of the University of International Business & Economics (UIBE). Dr. Wang is a visiting professor of Law School of University of International Business and Economics.

Dr. Wang is currently serving as arbitrator on the panel of ICSID, CIETAC, BAC/BIAC, Shanghai Arbitration Commission, Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration, etc. Dr. Wang had represented clients in various arbitral institutions such as CIETAC, HKIAC, SCC, ICC, KLRAC, etc. Dr. Wang also appeared as expert witness on Chinese Law in foreign jurisdictions. Dr. Wang has been from time to time appointed as an arbitrator in HKIAC and ICC arbitration proceedings.

Dr Wang is a leading figure in international trade and investment law in China, enjoying high reputation and international prestige with many awards. Chambers has rated him as an “Eminent Practitioner” in international trade law and one of the “Most in Demand Arbitrators” in China.

In 2015, Dr Wang established the WeChat official account of “Huanzhong Commercial Arbitration”, serving as the editor-in-chief and writer. Since establishment, more than 600 articles in the field of arbitration, international trade and investment have been published in this account. In January of 2024, the Book titled “CASES AND MATERIALS ON CHINESE ARBITRATION JUDICIAL REVIEW ” written by Dr Wang was first published and received warm welcome.
