Wolfgang Kuhla has broad experience in the fields of hospital planning and financing, cooperation agreements between hospitals and/or physicians and scientific organisations, hospital-related labour law issues, risk management procedures and compliance structures. He also has been involved in the privatisation of hospitals and hospital and care organisations related transactions.
He provides regulatory and policy advice to German and international companies and governmental agencies and public chambers. That covers litigation and representation in administrative procedures in public law matters and advice on construction and infrastructure projects.
Freie Universität Berlin (Dr. iur.). Prior to joining Raue, Wolfgang Kuhla worked with leading German and international law firms, Hogan & Hartson Raue (2001-2010), Oppenhoff & Rädler and predecessor firms (1983-2000). He is a certified specialist for administrative law since 1987.
Permanent member of the constitution law committee of the Federal Bar Association (Bundesrechtsanwaltskammer) (since 1992);
Society for environmental law;
Head of the institute for administration law in the German Lawyers’ Institute (Deutsches Anwaltsinstitut e.V.) (1984-1993)
Wolfgang Kuhla publishes regularly on administrative and health care law issues. He serves as honorary professor at the Freie Universität Berlin.
