Walter specialises in syndicated loan transactions in the context of acquisitions and has also advised on several restructurings. He has widespread experience with all financing options for strategic and sponsor-backed borrowers, including, High Yield Bonds, Private Debt / Unitranche, Schuldscheine, derivatives and syndicated loans.
Most recently, he advised on syndicated loans for, among others, BMW, Deutsche Telekom, Schaeffler and SMA Solar. He also advised on the restructurings of Benteler, Wirecard, ENERCON, Bartec and the Austrian Asamer Group.
