Tero Kovanen

Tero advises on questions related to commercial dispute resolution. Tero splits his time between Helsinki and New York, where he has completed studies in the past, and he also serves as the President of AIJA’s (International Association of Young Lawyers) International Arbitration Commission. As such, Tero’s assignments often have an international focus.

In addition to all aspects of commercial arbitration and litigation, including regulatory appeals, Tero regularly advises the upper management of especially overseas companies on preventive conflict management, directors’ liability, and white-collar crimes. Tero has also gained further experience on secondment with a leading distributor of pharmaceuticals and health products.

Tero is one of the co-authors of the newest in-depth commentary on the Finnish Arbitration Act.
