Susana has extensive experience advising investment banks and financial services clients in relation to litigation and regulatory enforcement proceedings both in the UK and cross-border.

In relation to regulatory matters, she has conducted numerous internal investigations and represented clients in relation to enforcement proceedings across a wide range of compliance/conduct issues. She also has experience of advising in relation to inquiries and appearances before parliamentary committees.

Prior to joining Linklaters in 2017, Susana was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs based in London responsible for litigation and contentious regulatory proceedings across EMEA. In that role she acquired an in-depth knowledge of how a financial services firm operates and an understanding of the client perspective of managing litigation and contentious regulatory matters including in relation to the importance of governance and reputational risk management.
