Steven McEwan

Steven McEwan is an authority on UK financial services law and regulation.

He regularly works on transactions involving insurers, reinsurers, and banks and advises on the regulatory requirements that apply to them. Examples include collateralized reinsurance, regulatory capital-driven transactions, credit and market risk insurance, pension scheme de-risking transactions, and transactions relating to the Lloyd's insurance market. In his advisory work, he focuses on the regulatory rules on capital and investments as they apply to insurers and banks.
