Stephanie is a partner in the Commercial Real Estate Group at Torkin Manes LLP, advising clients on the acquisition, sale, development and financing of commercial real estate. She also regularly acts for both landlords and tenants on agreements related to condominium and multi-unit rental developments, and leasing matters.

Stephanie is highly experienced in drafting and negotiating a wide range of agreements and documents in connection with land development and real estate related transactions, including agreements of purchase and sale, loan and security documents, reciprocal easement and operating agreements, restrictive covenant agreements, and commercial lease agreements.

She also regularly deals with a wide variety of commercial developments, conveyancing and financing matters ranging from planning and zoning issues, to the purchase and sale of commercial properties. Her practice includes reviewing title and off-title searches as well as land transfer tax deferrals in corporate reorganizations. In particular, Stephanie has extensive experience in dealing with planning and development matters relating to shopping centre developments, including severances of properties, cross easements and restrictive covenants.
