Sharon is the founder of the BeesMont Group and the Managing Partner of BeesMont Law Limited. She was admitted as a Solicitor in England and Wales and Hong Kong and was called to the Bermuda Bar in 1993.

Prior to establishing the BeesMont Group, Sharon spent the first eight years of her professional practice with Linklaters (in London & Hong Kong) where she worked primarily in the fields of commercial property, banking and capital market and banking transactions; after a sabbatical involving cycling from England to the Near East, she worked with Denys Reitz in South Africa, advising on corporate cross-border transactions. Sharon then moved to Bermuda where she was the head of banking at one of the then leading Bermuda law firms.

In 1997 she co-founded the original ISIS Group which included the ISIS Foundation now known as Adara Foundation, an international non-profit, which seeks to improve the lives of children and their families in Nepal and Uganda. Sharon was also one of the founders of IKONIC Fund Services Ltd., a licensed Bermuda fund administrator, now owned by the Artex Group.

Since 1992, when Sharon commenced her law practice in Bermuda, she has developed a recognised investment fund practice, particularly with respect to infrastructure and alternative fund strategies. She has also advised on a wide range of corporate and commercial transactions including domestic and international M&A and joint ventures, general corporate governance issues and more recently digital asset business.

Sharon is a member of the Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX) Listing Committee.

She is also a former Director of the Board of the Bermuda Monetary Authority, a member of the Asset Management Group, a committee of the Bermuda Business Development Agency (having previously chaired a Bermuda investment funds industry committee), a member of the AIMA chapter in Bermuda and has served on numerous other voluntary business groups in Bermuda.

Sharon is a director of the publicly traded Enstar Group Limited and The China ‘A’ Fund Limited and a number of privately owned companies.
