He is partner in the Hamburg office an represents clients in complex disputes involving national laws of various countries as well as private and public international law. Mr. Seelmann-Eggebert has conducted arbitrations under the rules of all major arbitral institutions, including DIS, ICC, ICSID, SCC and UNCITRAL.

He also regularly arbitrates under German and Swiss ad hoc rules and has particular insight into the energy, insurance, media, telecommunications, financial services, and construction industries.

His experience includes acting as lead counsel in a number of multi-jurisdictional disputes involving public international law and the substantive laws of countries from Azerbaijan to Ukraine.
