Ruth joined Sequent (formerly Rothschild Trust Group) in early 2015. Prior to joining Sequent, Ruth was a solicitor in private practice in New Zealand and has a wide range of experience of working with the legal and tax aspects relating to trusts set up for international private clients, cross-border wealth structuring, and family governance.
She is a member of the Wealth Planning team, dealing with new business development, legal aspects of existing structures, and the implementation of tax and regulatory changes.
Ruth has been awarded a Master of Laws from King’s College London. She also studied at the University of Auckland and graduated with conjoint Bachelor of Laws degree (Honours) and Bachelor of Arts degree. Ruth is a current member of the Executive Committee of the Singapore Trustees Association, which represents the interests of trust companies in Singapore.
