Phillip is known for his particular technical expertise in company and insolvency law where he has extensive experience acting for office-holders at most of the major firms. He also has significant experience acting for directors and Defendants/Respondents to proceedings, something which enables him to give clear strategic advice in respect of these claims.
Phillip’s trial advocacy and cross-examination have been marked out for particular praise.
Phillip has acted for a diverse range of clients across sectors such as aviation, cyber-security and financial services and brings a strong commercial focus to any case.
Phillip’s recent civil fraud work has included high-profile allegations of fraudulent misappropriation of trust funds, ‘Dreamvar’ fraud claims and claims involving allegations of forgery. Phillip well understands the unique challenges presented by such litigation.
