Peter Wolrich is an eminent leader in the field of international arbitration. He acts as Counsel to European, Asian, African and South American States as well as to national and multinational corporations, in high value arbitrations. He also serves as Chairman of Arbitral Tribunals, Sole Arbitrator, or Co-Arbitrator in connection with ICC, ICSID, SCC, LCIA, NIA, Swiss and ad hoc arbitrations, with disputed amounts up to US $11 billion. He is active in both treaty/investor and commercial arbitrations and has served as Dispute Board Chairman. He is also a CEDR accredited mediator. For twelve years Mr Wolrich served as Chairman of the ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR and was a principal draftsman of the 2012 ICC Rules of Arbitration, the ICC Expert Rules, the ICC Mediation Rules and the ICC Dispute Board Rules. Mr. Wolrich has lectured at major universities and at prominent conferences throughout the world. He regularly authors articles on dispute resolution. He has been recognized by Who’s Who Legal as an arbitration “Thought Leader” and has been decorated as Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur by the French government.
