Paul takes a highly bespoke and integrated approach to investigations, cultivating and applying the best talent, techniques, data resources, and proprietary information technologies to complex and high-stakes questions to yield truth, insight and clarity. In his practice, His investigations have uncovered fraud, corruption, and malfeasance at the highest levels of business and government.
Paul assists leading litigators, investors and corporate decision-makers in gathering critical facts and intelligence and finding hidden evidence and assets in the context of high-stakes and complex disputes, due diligence, and internal investigations.
Prior to founding the firm, Paul was an investigative journalist who reported domestically and internationally for a variety of news organisations and magazines. His investigative reporting uncovered fraud, corruption, and malfeasance at the highest levels of business and government. He is also a former National Press Foundation fellow, has appeared on CNN, and been published by The New York Times, National Journal, USA Today, The St. Petersburg Times, The Miami Herald, The Palm Beach Post, Washingtonian Magazine, Salon, and others.
He received a B.A. in English from the University of Virginia, where he was an Echols Scholar.
