Ophir Cavalcante

Career

Retired attorney for the State of Pará, he was President of the Federal Council of the Brazilian Bar Association (2008/2013), President of the OAB Section of the State of Pará for two terms (2001/2006) and Federal Councilor for the State of Pará (2007/ 2009). Master in Public Law from the Federal University of Pará, Postgraduate with specialization in Public Advocacy and Electoral Law. He was a professor at the Law course at the Federal University of Pará. He held the position of General Consultant of the Municipality of Belém (90/91) and Attorney General of the State of Pará (2016/2018). Lifetime Honorary Member of OAB Nacional and OAB Pará. He is the author of books and scientific articles published in specialized legal magazines and websites.
