Olaf Giebe has extensive experience in all kinds of intellectual property litigation through his activity as a lawyer before the regional court and the court of appeals of Dusseldorf and in the courts of Munich, Mannheim and Karlsruhe, as well as by participation in numerous proceedings before the Federal Supreme Court, the Federal Patent Court, and the European Patent Office. For more than 30 years now, he has been representing German and international companies and groups in complex patent infringement proceedings in all technical areas including chemicals, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, electronics, software, semiconductors, and mechanical engineering. He is particularly specialised in the areas of pharmaceuticals, materials science, and the automotive and bicycle industries.
