Niels Bang is Chairman of the Board and part of our Corporate/M&A practice group where he assists Danish and foreign companies in company law issues, securities law issues, M&A transactions, venture capital, shareholders agreements and incentive schemes. Niels has provided advice and conducted negotiations in connection with a large number of corporate acquisitions, mergers and restructurings in many different industries. He also has market-leading experience of venture investments and exits in life sciences. With more than 20 directorships, Niels has extensive experience as a director and an active discussion partner in issues relating to organisation and business. Niels uses his network actively to create business and transaction opportunities for his clients. He is furthermore chairman of the board of directors in Gorrissen Federspiel.
He represents Denmark on the Company Law Committee under the Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe (CCBE) and is a member of the board of the Danish Association for Company Law, the board of representatives of the Association of Danish Law Firms and of the committee for advice and knowledge service of the Confederation of Danish Enterprise.
