Nicolai Behr

Nicolai is a partner in the Dispute Resolution group of Baker McKenzie, a member of the Global Investigations, Compliance and Ethics Steering Committee and co-heads the Investigations, Compliance and Ethics practice in Germany. As a trusted advisor to boards, supervisory boards, general counsel and chief compliance officers, Nicolai guides clients through sensitive internal investigations and complex compliance governance matters – both nationally and internationally.

He regularly leads high-profile investigations for DAX40 and other listed multinational companies involving allegations of fraud, corruption, product compliance violations, workplace misconduct, money laundering, financial misconduct, cyber incidents and other white collar issues. Drawing on years of experience in cross-border matters, Nicolai helps clients navigate regulatory scrutiny and mitigate reputational risks.

In addition to his investigation work, Nicolai advises on the design and implementation of compliance programs, including whistleblowing programs, risk assessments and compliance governance.
