Msiya Kindiano is one of Botswana's leading corporate and commercial legal advisors, with the focal points of his practice being in corporate law, insolvency and restructuring, corporate and commercial risk management, commercial advisory, tax advisory, competition, conventional dispute resolution and alternative dispute resolution (local, cross-border, and international).
Msiya is a fierce competitor with a creative mind, who is highly experienced and active across the spectrum of corporate and commercial law, and has been described in Chambers as being "tough, but fair".
He has been a practicing attorney since 2006 and has years of experience in providing custom advice and bespoke solutions representing both creditors and debtors, with respect to complex commercial interests and concerns, which have spanned the length and breadth of industry, in the Southern African Development Community and the European Union. He has headed and been part of leading multi-disciplinary teams, which have provided tailormade solutions to complex commercial issues and disputes, drafting pleadings and petitions, providing and executing strategic advice, and appearing before judges, arbitrators, mediators, adjudicators, Boards of Tax Adjudication et cetera, in the interests of his clients.
He has acted for, advised, and assisted a broad international client base, which includes multinationals, non-government entities, governments, state-owned entities, insurance houses and financial institutions, over a wide range of matters, with local, cross-border and trans-national components.
